Hey guys :P

So I have just started this blog which, you could probably guess from the title, is all about Indie music.
I started listening to indie music bands such as 'Vampire Weekend' and 'Florence + the Machine' a fair few years ago in my early teenage years, a period of my life where I began to discover great bands such as these, making a heavier period of my life; of ridicule by my peers, abandonment by my "friends" and the stresses of puberty a lot lighter; turning that miserable hostile girl into a friendly, hopeful and happy young adult.

Music is powerful drug; it changed my personality for the better, thus changing my life for the better- music started the domino effect which has led to my current happiness and has helped me overcome obstacles, and I hope that readers of this blog may find happiness from music that helped me find mine.

Though the title of the blog is aimed at Indie music, which is the main genre of music I am drawn to, I will also talk about and suggest many artists of other genres of music, as no one genre is enough to satisfy my musical appetite. ;)
